Naturopathic medicine requires time to go over a case in detail. Allow 2 hours for the initial visit.
Typically about 50 minutes in length. How many visits someone needs will depend on their particular case, and individual health goals.
Not everyone knows what an appointment with a naturopathic doctor is like prospective clients may speak to Dr. Marcus for up to 15 minutes at no cost. You may do this over the phone or in the office. If you would like to set up time for an free consult just ask.
Would you like to review lab work, or get a second opinion about a current protocol you are on? Perhaps you are in an area where you can not find a qualified natural health care practitioner near you. In such case a consult over phone or skype is appropriate.
Distance consults must be prepaid for in advance. This can be done with the link below, or call up office to pay by credit card over the phone.
Any labs which you wish to review during your session should be e-mailed or faxed over prior to our discussion.
It is often helpful for clients to take a photo of their tongue and email that over as well.
The fee for phone/Skype time is $75 per half hour.
Call or e-mail the office to schedule an appointment.
Payment is due by 9:00 AM of the morning of the day we talk in order to keep your spot reserved.
E-mail or fax any lab work you wish to review – preferably at least 1 day prior to the scheduled appointment. The fax number is: 646-630-9758. Or e-mail to saul@saulmarcusnd.com.
If possible take a photo of your tongue and e-mail that over as well.
Supplements may be recommended and are available for purchase. Cost of supplements are not included in visit fees. You are under no obligation to purchase anything.
As Naturopathic Doctors are not licensed in New York State, Dr. Marcus is unable to take insurance since there will be no reimbursement.
As long as Albany refuses to license naturopathic medicine (and hence extend insurance coverage), there is nothing more Dr. Marcus can do about it.
If you would like insurance coverage for Naturopathic Doctors please contact your representatives in Albany and tell them to license Naturopathic Doctors. More information on this matter is available on the NYANP web site.
Due to the fact that Naturopathic Doctors are not licensed or recognized by the state of New York, lab work will not be read with the intention of diagnosing or treating any disease. Services provided are strictly meant to help with health and wellness only. In New York State naturopathic doctors are not licensed to diagnose and treat specific illness.
